Marketing Whitepaper
Marketing whitepapers are a craft in themselves. You need to educate at the same time that you let readers know that you are well-equipped to do the job. The whitepaper below is one of a series I wrote that was adopted and distributed by a Quality Improvement Organization for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (the largest insurer in America). So they got me quite a bit of exposure.

Marketing Newsletter
This is one issue of a marketing newsletter I wrote. In this case, I designed the newsletter format as well.
Newsletters are a bit tricky. You often want to put them in html so they look nice. But you want to design them to work well for people who accept only text or who disable images.
My solution was to put a teaser upfront for people who use the preview pane before they open an email. Follow that with a message from me to create rapport. Then add my marketing. And finally, the feature article.
The newsletter series won an APEX award for publication excellence.
